Prior to the cardiologist's evaluation, the test is administered in a controlled environment where nursing staff performs an electrocardiogram and monitors the patient's blood pressure and heart rate.

Holter Monitoring – determines how the heart responds to normal activity. The monitor results aid in prescribing a new heart medicine and may be used after a heart attack to diagnose heart rhythm problems.

In addition to a high-technology care plan, cardiac care team members offer encouragement, understanding, respect and compassion during the stay by ensuring that cardiologists and nurses are readily accessible.
